Introducing ShopSavvy Desktop
ShopSavvy Desktop is a dedicated shopping assistant that lives right on your computer. Type what you're looking for, and it searches across 70,000+ retailers, compares prices, reads reviews, checks price history, and gives you a clear answer. No more opening 15 browser tabs.
It's free, and it runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux.
How it works
Open the app and start typing. Ask things like:
- "What's the best 65-inch TV under $1,000?"
- "Compare the Sony WH-1000XM5 vs Bose QC Ultra"
- "What's the best time to buy a new laptop?"
- "Build me a home office setup under $2,000"

The Lineup
As you chat, a dynamic Lineup bar builds alongside the conversation. It organizes products into interactive cards with prices, scores, badges like "Top Pick" or "Best Value," and quick actions to watch, buy, or replace items.
The Lineup has five display modes:
- Compare โ Ranked products with annotations and badges
- Collection โ Budget-building for multi-item projects (like a home office setup), with a running total
- Table โ Spreadsheet-style spec grid, sortable by any column
- Versus โ Head-to-head matchup for two products with detailed score breakdowns
- Timeline โ Price sparklines showing trends over time
You can export any Lineup to CSV, Markdown, or copy it straight into a spreadsheet.

Call for Me
Need to know if a store near you has something in stock? Your assistant can call nearby stores for you. It checks stock, current prices, ongoing deals, and price matching policies. You watch every call happen live with real-time transcripts, and get a summary of the best price found across all stores reached.
Available with Pro and Max plans.
Buy It For Me
Say the word and your assistant handles checkout. It works on any retailer website. Your payment info is encrypted on your device and unlocked only with Touch ID. The assistant never sees your card number.

You can also set up Auto-Buy: pick a product, set a target price, and the assistant will automatically purchase it when the price drops to your threshold. You control which retailers are approved and get a confirmation for every purchase.
Watch everything
You can watch individual products for price drops, save search queries to get deal alerts, or watch entire Lineups to track a whole product category over time. When new products show up or prices move, you'll know.
Background Refresh keeps your watched prices updated automatically, even when the app isn't in the foreground. You'll get native desktop push notifications and email alerts whenever something changes.
Daily briefings
Start your day with a personalized shopping summary: price drops on products you're watching, deals matching your saved searches, product news, and buy-now-or-wait advice based on price trends. Weekly deep dives go further with all-time low detection, category-wide comparisons, and portfolio analysis.
Available with Pro and Max plans.
It remembers you
Your assistant remembers your preferences across conversations. Brand loyalty, budget ranges, household context (like whether you have kids, pets, or a specific home size), and shopping priorities all carry over. You don't have to repeat yourself every time.
Bring products from anywhere
Drop a URL into the chat, paste a product link, or upload a CSV of items you want to compare. The assistant immediately looks everything up and pulls in current prices, reviews, and history.
And a lot more
There's also keyboard shortcuts, conversation pinning and search, shared conversation links, deal discovery with community grades and voting, desktop push notifications, barcode scanning, a product sidebar with full price history and reviews, and the ability to export or merge conversations. We're adding new features all the time.
You can see the full list of features and download the app at shopsavvy.com/desktop.
